A group project for a class run by a producing artist at Meow Wolf, which describes itself as “an
arts production company that creates immersive, multimedia experiences
that transport audiences of all ages into fantastic realms.”
I spearheaded the layout and design of our space, the ancient skull of a snake-like Leviathan,
and was responsible for the writing and graphic design of our group’s
presentation. I also co-led the world-building of the overall space, and
created a storyboard of the overarching plot.

The leviathan was here eons before the owls arrived, the flesh long-since stripped from its bones by fungus.
It figures in the owl creation myth, wherein the ancient leviathan curled up to die, floating in the great unknown, and became this world.
Although there exist many contemporary theories, some more scientific than others, (see below) the owls know little else about this creature for sure.
